Our yarn is dyed by hand in small batches with washfast, lightfast professional acid dyes. Each dye lot is unique, and every skein in every dye lot is unique. For this reason, we highly recommend alternating skeins when using more than one skein of the same colourway for a project.
This yarn can be washed and dried by machine.
However we strongly recommend hand washing separately and laying flat to dry in order to preserve the quality of the colour and fabric. A small amount of dye in the water may occur with the first few washings, especially with deep and saturated colours.
