Come design and make your dream sweater at Indigodragonfly Studio this July!
When you imagine your dream sweater, what does it look like? Some imagine fabric rich in colourwork, deep in cables, flowing with lace. We imagine pockets and hoods, hems that sit just right, and sleeves that allow us to move freely. And some of us would be ecstatic to just have a basic sweater that fits us well.
Immerse yourself in Sweater Camp at Indigodragonfly Studio, in the heart of cottage country, Ontario Canada. Surrounded by yarn and a beautiful landscape, you’ll take lessons in how to find inspiration, distill it down to colour, stitches, textures, and shapes, and turn all of those into a sweater that you love. Each student will choose a focus for the week, and work towards individualized goals. Maybe you want to learn how to design pockets, hoods, and collars. Perhaps you want to perfect the fit of a simple, classic cardigan. You could fine tune your finishing, gauge/fabric, or other technical skills. Or you may wish to design a colourwork yoke or your own lace or cable patterns. Whatever your dream is, Sweater Camp is the place to be.

Sweater Camp 2023
Dates: July 24-28, 2023
Fee: Deposit of $226 (includes tax). Total cost of camp is $750 (+tax) CAD
Class size: 8 people
* Fee includes all class materials except yarn for your final sweater.
* there will be opportunities to get custom dyed yarn for your sweater.
THE FINE PRINT
Travel & accommodation is on your own, however we offer suggestions here.
Payment plans for remainder of fee is possible. We will outline this in the welcome email.
Cancellation Policy:
If Indigodragonfly cancels at any time, 100% of fees paid will be refunded.
Before May 1 - all fees, minus $100 admin fee.
May 1 - June 15 -- 50% of all fees paid to date.
After June 15 -- no refunds unless a replacement student is found.
COVID-19 Policy:
Proof of vaccination + booster will be required in order to confirm your spot in Dye Camp. We believe this is an important aspect of keeping Dye Camp safe for all. We will be adhering to all laws regarding COVID procedures and precautions. We reserve the right to add precautions based on what we feel is safe for our space and our students. This may include, but is not limited to:
- masks worn in designated areas
- physically distanced workspaces
- If rapid antigen tests are taken daily, mask will not be required. (we provide tests)
Safety Policy:
Safety of our students and staff is of utmost importance. Any harassment of Indigodragonfly Studio staff or fellow Dye Camp participants will result in immediate removal from the programme. Fees will not be refunded in these cases.
