Gifts for the Crocheter In Your Life...

First up in our gift guide are gifts for the crocheter in your life. We've started curating a selection of fun and handy crochet items in the shop this past year that we think would be perfect for any crocheter or would be crocheter in your life.

One of the first things every crocheter needs is a good set of tools. Luckily, we have recently gotten in some beautiful bamboo handled crochet hooks from our friends at ChiaoGoo. These metal hooks are super strong, but benefit from the comfort of a nice flat bamboo handle. As a result, they are supremely comfortable to use and have the added bonus of looking really snazzy too!

One thing I love about our current crochet kits is that they are all squee-worthy. Take these kits from TOFT UK for example:

This is Stanley the Stegosaurus, a Level 1 Complete Beginner kit. Not only is Stanley super adorable, but his kit comes with everything you need to make him, including yarn, stuffing, a crochet hook, and instructions. Wouldn't he, or one of his friends, be delightful to send to someone you love?

Birds more your thing? Edward's Menagerie: Birds is just the ticket. It's chockfull of whimsical bird patterns for everything from parrots to pheasants.

The final item we'll showcase today is this interchangeable Tunisian crochet set. Tunisian crochet is starting to become better known with a number of designers on Ravelry releasing new patterns for everything from hats, scarves, sweaters, and more. Once again, ChiaoGoo has come up with a beautiful interchangeabl e tunisian crochet set which comes in its own zippered pouch and contains hooks from size E/4 (3.5 mm) to size N/15 (10 mm).
