Shipping Policies

Shipping policy

Every effort will be made for product that has been purchased and is in stock to be shipped within 2-4 business days upon receipt of order. In the event of a delay of shipping, we will notify the customer by email with an estimate of shipping date(s). Delays in shipping can occur due to: holidays, medical issues/family deaths, unforeseen damages to business (ie. natural disaster, fire, flood), staff out of town at trade shows, product being inadvertently out of stock. Products that are set up for Pre-Order will be shipped within the timelines (or earlier if available) outlined on the product page of said item. Delays in shipping may also occur at year-end as Indigodragonfly usually closes every year for the Holidays from approximately the week before Christmas to the second week of January.

Shipping is processed via Canada Post. All shipments within Canada automatically have a tracking number. Shipments to the United States and International locations under 1 kg are now shipped via Canada Post Tracked Package and have a tracking number. We no longer offer untracked shipping due to too many lost/missing/untraceable packages. Shipments to the United States and International locations that are over 1 kg are automatically tagged for expedited shipping and will have a tracking number. Purchases have an insurance value of $100; you may purchase additional insurance if requested by emailing us at help@indigodragonfly.ca. The maximum allowed amount of insurance to a US or International location is $1000 CAD. Please allow at least 10 business days for shipments to arrive in Canada and the United States; International shipments can take longer.

If a shipment is lost or goes missing, please contact us at orders@indigodragonfly.ca and we will coordinate with you and Canada Post to put a trace on the parcel. Refunds on lost parcels only cover up to the maximum amount of the insurance on the parcel in question. Parcels that are not deliverable tend to take approximately 30 - 45 business days to be returned to us, and we cannot attempt to resend the item until it is physically returned to us.
