BUMBLETEE

Bumbletee, the 2026 Not-So-Mysterious KAL sweater, is a short sleeved raglan tee, with hexagonal hems on the body and sleeves, a rounded hexagonal neckline, and modular compound shaping in the armholes and sleeves. Knit in a textured stitch pattern, randomized by rolling dice, the knit/purl stitches break up the colours in short variegated and speckled yarns beautifully, taming even the most difficult yarns.

Bumbletee is slightly cropped, with hexagonal panels in the centre front and back body, designed to draw the eye towards the centre of the body and away from the hips. The sleeves cover the outside of the arms, with less fabric under the arm. Sleeves can be seamed at the inner arm to create a typical sleeve shape, or left unseamed for a loose flutter sleeve. The open, rounded hexagonal neckline is mirrored on the front and back of the sweater, making it cooler for the summer months.
