In this workshop series, we will delve into the construction of four basic sweater constructions (Drop Shoulder, Set-In Sleeve, Raglan, and Circular Yoke) and ways we can make these constructions inclusive of a wide range of body sizes and shapes.
In each class, we will look at a different sweater construction in depth, covering:
- what defines each sweater construction
- body shaping appropriate to each construction
- where we can make changes to the construction to suit different body types
- landmarks for adding waist, hip, bust and neck shaping
- pros and cons of each construction for different body shapes
- and more.
You can choose to take all 4 sessions, or individual sessions. All sessions will be held from 11 am to 1 pm Eastern time on Zoom. Classes are recorded and registered students will have access to class recordings indefinitely.
